In the framework of the Jaitapur Nuclear Power Plant (JNPP) project, the 5th edition of the EDF Suppliers’ Day took place on the 9th of December 2021, organized by Business France, in full digital mode due to the pandemic context. More than 150 persons, 80 Indian companies and more than 30 French companies participated in the event through our dedicated digital platform further strengthening the Indo-French industrial cooperation for JNPP.
The Suppliers’ Day took place under the high patronage of H.E Emmanuel Lenain, Ambassador of France to India. It was a great opportunity to share the tangible achievements following EDF’s binding offer submission on April 2021 and to highlight the outstanding localisation opportunities made possible for Indian companies. The Suppliers’ Day allowed the sharing and testimony of Indo-French collaboration already in place for the JNPP project with the active participation of GE Power, Assystem, Tata Consulting Engineers, Larsen & Toubro Heavy Engineering, Prysmian, Schneider Electric, Fuji Electric France, GIFEN & I2EN.
