EDF awarded for business resilience during Covid 19
EDF Group in India was awarded the title of ‘Business Resilience during COVID-19’ by the Indo French Chamber of Commerce & Industry and the CCI France International, during the Indo-French Business awards 2021 organized on March 24th, 2021. This award is based on the resilience shown by EDF entities in India during the Pandemic and Nationwide lock-down starting from March 23rd, 2020.
Throughout the lockdown, all EDF entities in India like EDF Renewables, EDF Citelum, EDF International Networks continued their services to the public always with the aim of achieving carbon neutrality via the generation of carbon-free electricity through our solar & wind generation power plants, operation and maintenance of street lights and installation of Smart Meters.
EDF also won the contract for “One Sun One World One Grid” from International Solar Alliance by the end of the year and kept the entire nation engaged during the peak of the lockdown by organizing the 1st edition of EDF Pulse India, a nationwide low carbon solution start-ups competition to showcase innovation in the energy sector.
During the Indo-French Business Awards 2019, EDF in India had been awarded the title of “Best French Group in India”.
